3 TIPS for a GREAT BREASTSTROKE KICK

Throw on a snorkel and work on perfecting your breaststroke kick. Try it with hands by your side and then in the streamlined-glide position as shown in the videos below.  
  1. Bring heels to your hands.  (not knees to chest)
  2. Check for a long, straight, and tight body line during the glide phase.
  3. Keep knees close to shoulder-distance apart.  (not too wide like doing the splits)







Once you have mastered the body position, work on distance per kick.  Count your kicks per lap and try to reduce the count while maintaining the same speed.   Share
