Flip turns can be tricky in a crowded lane.
Use good technique, planning, and care when executing your turn.
- Leave 5 seconds after the swimmer in front of you
- Cross under flag and aim body toward the left in a diagonal line
- Flip and plant feet on the left side of the wall
- Push straight off (deep and strong) beside the lane rope
