Chocolate milk can be a good recovery snack after swimming. However, a recovery shake is an excellent snack. Give it a try.
1 cup almond or cashew milk
1 scoop protein powder (optional if you need extra protein)
1/4 c. dry oats
1/2 cup nut butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. honey
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1-2 cups ice
1-2 cups ice
